  1. I cannot begin to imagine what you have had to experience and suffer through because of your accident and TBI but most definitely my heart goes out to you. The challenges you have had to overcome, the struggles to get back on your feet,…..
A big question that I’m sure you have asked yourself many times, everyone who asks you why your ex hates you so, why aren’t they asking him? Going through your trauma can change a person, in your case I’d say for the better. Although he stuck with you while you were in the hospital perhaps he saw some changes that he wasn’t expecting and or became afraid. Afraid of not knowing what the future would hold, afraid of how much time and or energy it might take to stick by your side. Sometimes it is the fear of the unknown that causes people to do very stupid things to include even abandoning the very ones who have meant the most to them. Each experience, each event we have in this life, can be something that either strengthens or weakens us, depending upon our outlook and the choices we make. Whatever his reasons are, let not any of that trouble you. You have overcome many things to get where you are at and you have some very gorgeous and adorable kids which says a tremendous amount of the great mother that you are.
While you will never know the reason for his behavior but he has made a choice and the day of reckoning will come for each of us for the many choices we have made, weather good or bad. Despite everything though one thing is for sure. Despite past mistakes and choices, we do not have to allow ourselves to be defined by the mistakes of out past and the choices others have made.
You are a living witness of that so always remember just who you are: A very beautiful daughter of Christ. He knows your pain and sorrows. He is very well aware of every tear that you’ve shed and as a wise man said, “God will hold every man responsible for the tears that they have caused their wives to shed.”
Keep your head held high always.

    1. That is very well said, thank you.

I have made mistakes, yes. I wanted to give up multiple times. I have given up multiple times. But then I realized, I gave birth to those girls. And you know what, they are worth fighting for. It’s just that I’m tired. I’m tired of fighting, and i’m tired of being blamed for everything. What they don’t understand is Tim knows how to provoke me. Unfortunately, I have fallen into his trap many times. What does the Bible say about provocation?

Galatians 5:25-26 Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Let us not become conceited, or provoke one another, or be jealous of one another.

Proverbs 15:1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Proverbs 12:18 There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Colossians 3:8 But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

Proverbs 15:4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it breaks the spirit.

Proverbs 30:17 – The eye [that] mocketh at [his] father, and despiseth to obey [his] mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
